Well I set my alarm for 5am this morning and got up with intentions of starting the Couch to 5k program.
I did my usual walking route which takes 1 hour when I walk it, but this morning I started some intermitant jogging. I was going to do what the program suggested with 60sec jog, 90sec walk, but because my watch is not the best for that, I did it on distance...not sure how long each spout was though. I managed 4 lots in there and will do that for this week and see if I can stretch it out next week.
Soooooooooooo...my 1hr route only took me 50 minutes! I want to keep this up as I go back to teaching fulltime (after having a year off for materity leave) on Jan 19. Totally new school and new grade!
I also jumped on the scales this morning to weigh in (thought I would do that for the livinginthesuburbs challenge, rather than my usual tues evening weigh in at WW) and I was 82.2kg. So it looks like I am back to where I was before the Christmas pigouts! hehe
Ok...will be back laster with my measurements!

Great Stuff Angie it can be hard to time yourself when running for sure - I am just waiting on my new running shoes and I'll join you.

Hey Jadey! I should have new shoes, but will have to wait a month until I am back at work (been on unpaid maternity leave for a year) so I have some $$$ again. I KNOW I shouldn't run on non-running shoes, but they are still newish, only bougt them September last year.
Are you going anywere in particular to get your shoes?
