Will it EVER come off???

Damn...weigh in tonight and only .6kg off. I KNOW that is good, but these last few kgs are dragging on I tells ya! 1.3kg to go! I would LOVE to have it all off in a week, but know that probably isn't possible, so I guess my goal is for two weeks!

It HAS to be off by 19 May because that was my ultimate goal, as it is TJ's first birthday and I wanted to be at goal for that.

Anyway, check out my ticker!!!

WW weigh in

I went with a little stress to WW tonight thinking about how bad my Easter weekend had been. Granted I have worked my a$$ off all weekend to counteract the chocolate binging!!

Sooooo....I had a loss of 800g, which gets me to 72.9kg- 1.9kg off goal and .5g off my 30kg weight loss mark. I have a girl at my meeting who has 1.6kg to lose to get to goal and we now have a healthy competition to see who can get to goal first. I LOVE a good competition, so BRING IT ON!! lol I am soooooo determined to get to goal asap!

I am running the 4km easily now. I don't feel like I have huge blocks in the run anymore. My goal is to be able to do it in under 30mins. I think it is around 32mins now (but the run I am doing is 4.1km too). I will so be ready to do the fun run on Mother's Day!!

I am going to the Sunshine Coast on Sunday to see my best friend who is up with her family (including my goddaughter) for a holiday from Canberra. I am hoping to get into that bikini, but am still nervous about wearing it.

Okies...gotta go to bed early, have my session with my personal trainer at 6am!!!

Chocolate OD

Well....I did it....overdosed on chocolate. I know I will record a gain this week at WW and rightly deserve to do so :( It will be the 3rd only gain I have had since July last year when I started. I HAVE kept up the exercise and did another run this arvo. No comments this time.

Not stressing the weigh in. I figure I am only human....pass it by and move on....

Funny thing, I am STILL craving chocolate! :lol:

I did it!!! 4km run

I did my first full 4km run today around the streets. It is soooo much harder doing it outside than it is on the treadmill at the gym. I hit my first block around the 2km mark (used to be just before 1km when I ran 3km) and pushed through that and then around 3km...after that I got a second wind and felt like I could have done a lot more. I am such an unattractive runner though. My face is flaming red by about 1.5km and I look shocking!! lol

I am really pi$$ed though at an incident while running. I was about 1km in and some dickhead yelled out his car (passenger side) window something about "run... blah blah blah" I only heard the run part, possibly said "keep running you fat biotch, you need it" or something to that effect. I KNOW I am not the slimmest running, but that is why I am out there! :( Really put a dampener on the rest of the run. I have had a wanker call out another time too. Again I didn't hear what he (not a pattern here on the gender) said. Just shut the eff up and let me run you idiots!!

I have bought an ipod on ebay and am waiting for that to arrive (only won it on Wednesday), so once that arrives, I will get the sports band thingy for my arm and that will block out some of the idiots. What annoyed me the most is the initial fright when they yell from behind. And then of course spending the rest of the run being self concious because of what they could have said :(

I bought some new runner shoes yesterday (New balance) and wore them on the run. For the first time EVER, I haven't ended up with blisters!! LOVE them! They are so much better than the cross trainers (asics) I had before....lighter and allow the foot to breathe! I LOVE them!

Wednesday, April 12, 2006

Well....I am proud of me! I went for a run this morning and did 3.5kms! I looked like crap at the end, my face was so red, but I did it! :) Only need to add another 500m to get to 4kms for the Mother's Day Challenge. I will try that tonight! :)

After that (and still recovering from my full day on Monday) I did the front garden with Loj. 2 hours of pure hell! I got on the scales (bad me) afterwards and was 72.4!! (I know that was mainly water loss), but I thought "I can't wait til I see that on the scale and cringe because it means I have put ON weight" (well not that I will want to put ON weight , but you know what I mean.

Okies....have to go sit with Charlotte before she goes to sleep! xx

Week 1 Weigh in for LITS Challenge!

Well I have lost .7kgs this week which gets me down to 73.7kg! Only 2.7kgs to goal!!

I had my weigh in at WW so I wasn't expecting a lot as I used to do my weigh ins in the morning and near nude! BUt I am happy with 700g. Would love to lose a bit more a week, but I will get there...EVENTUALLY!

BUT the best part was that I was asked by my leader how much more I had to lose til goal- I said 2.5 (well 2.7kg) in front of the meeting. One of the members asked me if that was to MY goal or WW goal. I told her WW goal. She said that I was already thin and she thought I would have been at goal. As I weighed about the same as her, but looked so much thinner. I guess we alll do have different body shapes and sizes!

I did do a big shop on the weekend and am now wearing Medium tops and bought some size 12 jeans at Jeans West (VERY happy with that because they always seem to have smaller sizing). Some of my size 12 bottoms are getting baggy too!

FIrst day of school holidays

Well it is day one of the school holidays and I have hit my exercise head on! Was up with TJ this morning at 530am and Charlotte wasn't much further behind him in waking up. Loj was up about 645am so I went for my training run. I managed 3km without stopping or dying. Need to add the extra km this week sometime so I will be ready for the fun run in a month's time.

I then went and saw Brook at the gym for my personal torture (errr...training) session which was damn hard. I can't believe what I am lifting these days. He said he is going to get me bench pressing next week! Speaking of which, I am moving my PT session to 6am on Mondays (Wed next week due to Easter Monday) so I can get them out of the way.

Came home after the PT session and mowed the lawn :) Then went grocery shopping with Loj. Soooo much easier to do when we don't have the kids (oh yeah, between run and PT session, dropped kids at daycare).

I am now just home from my Body Attack class and am surprisingly doing well. I know it will hit me tomorrow evening. I hope I can get through the morning first.....wanna do another run.

WW weigh in tomorrow night which is also my week one results for the challenge. Just waiting for Biggest Loser to finish so I can go and watch it (Loj taped it for me).

Anyhoo....heading off to blog visit :)

WEEK 1 Measurements

Week One Measurements for the No Excuses Challenge

SW= 74.4kg

Neck-37cm
Shoulders-102cm
Upper Arm-30cm
Chest-93cm
Waist-79cm
Hips-96cm
Thigh-51cm
Calf-42cm

Yep....using the same measurements as I had for my final measurements from the last challenge. I doubt I would have lost much in a week. The funny thing is that my weight is the same, BUT I actually have lost. The final weigh in for the last challenge was nekkid in the morning, where as I will now weigh in at my WW meeting, so it is clothed (with shoes) and in the evening.

(So.... have lost 300g this week for WW!! Only 3.4kg to go)

LITS 6 Week No Excuses Challenge

My Overall Challenge Goals:

* Lose 3.7kg to get to goal
* Tone up!
* Continue training for Mother's Day Challenge
* Stop weighing myself every time I walk past the scales!
* Try to get to be a 60s girl!! (69.9kg will be fine!)

Week One Commitments:

* Coke zero only a few times this week
* Up my water intake
* Workout daily (whether this is at the gym or on our "home circuit")
* Only get on scales TWICE...once at WW (use that weigh in for here) and once at home on Sunday for my other challenge.
* Lose something!!

I will have my measurements and weight tomorrow evening!

First RPM class

Well I did it! I went and did my first RPM class. I quite liked it and it seemed to go a lot quicker than Body Attack, but YEEEOUCH, those effing seats are uncomfortable!!!

I was praying we would do more and more of that standing part-even though it seemed to make you work harder, but my butt got a rest.

I know that Jadey has said that you can get gel seats to go over(?) the seat...noone else in the class had them. It must get easier.

I weigh in tomorrow night at WW for the 6 week "No excuses Challenge". I will get my measurements for that too. I was going to do the weigh in on Monday mornings, but I really need to start staying away from the scales all the time, so I will just use my WW weigh in.

Anyway, watching the Biggest Loser here (near the end anyway)....so better head off :)

New Template

Ok....does anyone else have the same problem I do viewing this template. It seems to be a little squashed over the left and is only using 2/3 of the screen??

Introducing My Song OF The Week

My darling friend Laurie in Utah, started a song of the week on her site, so I am stealing the idea.

This week I have Bootylicious, purely because that is where I am wanting my body to get to! :)

Not much happening here in Toowoomba. TJ is napping (coming up to 3 hours), Charlotte is at her swimming lesson with Loj and my friend Pam left an hour or so ago after coming up for the night for a visit.

Last night we cracked open a bottle of wine (my fav) and I could only drink one glass. Sad, but I think I am OVER alcohol! My body just doesn't like it anymore. I think I can officially say I am getting HEALTHY! :)

It is April Fool's Day today. I will be good though !! Try and get to the gym this arvo, otherwise I will head out to our little circuit we have set up in our back entertaining area! Have Loj's weight bench, the exercise ball, the Firm step box, skipping rope and fitball! We are set. Might do that tonight when kids are asleep!

This time next week we will be heading to Brisbane. My parents get home from the O.S. trip. They have been gone a month. Went to Italy, London, Paris, Egypt and are heading to Dubai and Singapore now. They arrive home on Friday morning, so we will go visit Saturday arvo and stay the night.
