Gym Program

I finally booked in to get my gym program done tonight. Nothing new really as I have been to gyms before and know the machines well. The guy who went through the program with me is also a personal trainer, so when he was asking me my goals, I told him about having 5 (YES 5!!!) kgs to go til I was at WW goal and how I want to run the 4km Mother's Day Challenge in May. Anyway, he was hugely impressed with my 26.4kg weight loss since July and has given me a complimentary personal training seesion.

I have the session on Monday evening for 30 minutes and he told me to not do my weights this weekend as he wants me to be FRESH for the session on Monday. Oh dear....what have I got myself into? I had told him that I am really interested in the personal training as it was my next reward when I got to 75kg (which is 1kg away). IF I get that next weigh in, I will be HUGELY surprised.

I am doing speed intervals at the moment on the treadmill and am really getting fitter with that. The body attack class is bloody hard work, so I don't want to drop that. I know I need to up the stakes to lose these last 5kg.

Funny, I am watching the Biggest Loser and watching these people work out 4 hours a day and eat well and they are only losing about 1kg a week now (not looking at the men). What hope di I have to lose around .5-1kg a week if I am doing a smidgen of that exercise (40-60mins, 4-5times a week) and eating well? A little depressing to be honest.

I really just want to get rid of this last bit of weight. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Amputate a limb?

I think doing intervals works well and the personal trainer should definitely help. I know for me, the main thing is keeping my eyes on the prize - it's so easy to get complacent.

Hi Angie,
I have to say "OMG!!" about the difference in the two photos! You look totally amazing!! And in just 8 months!
And your family is beautiful...you must be so proud hun!! Thanks for sharing!

Honey you should be just proud of yourself for NOW and just go with the flow, Stop stressing the numbers and start focusing on the run for mothersday or another goal that has nothing to do with weight??? Then the numbers will fall into place with the right exercise right food and the right attitude!!
You have to love yourself now so that when you get to goal you can really appreciate where you came from and how you got there and then maintaining will be that little bit easier!!
Keep smiling!!
Em:)
