1 week to go! :(

Well a week today marks my return to the workforce and return to teaching. We moved to Toowoomba last February while I was on maternity leave and I was given a transfer while on leave. SO I will start my new year in a new school (20mins west of Toowoomba) and a grade I haven't taught before (grade 6- in my 10 years of teaching, I have only taught 1-3).

This morning I wanted to see if it was possible to get everything done and still leave at 730am. I was awake at 5am, jogged for 45mins. Got home around 6am. TJ was cooing, made Charlotte's bed (yup she was already up), put a load of washing on and then picked TJ up for a cuddle and changed his nappy and dressed him. Then took him out, gave him his bottle while having a surf on here. Meanwhile, Loj got Charlotte her honey on toast (favourite breakfast so far). I had breakfast (surfing here while eating) I then went and had a shower and got dressed. When I was back, i made TJ's cereal and fed him, while Loj had Charlotte brush her teeth. I managed to dress Charlotte and do her hair, grab her daycare bag and we said bye to daddy and TJ (who would be home on THurs and Fridays anyway) and I took her to daycare. Left there at 7:30am. That would get me to school by or around 8am, which is plenty of prep time as school would start at 9am.

This evening we bundled the kids off for another walk as a family. We left a little later and it was much cooler. Another 45 minutes! I had BETTER be losing weight when I exercise this much!

Wow, it sounds like you are mega-organised. I don't think I'd be getting up early when I didn't need to but it's good to have that reassurance.

hrm I just realised that was "a week today" Not Today!
