Busy busy
I can't believe I haven't updated since Wednesday. Well my first days back were good. No kids, so that always makes school an enjoyable place hehe! I was lucky to meet another new teacher in the office before school even started, so that made it a lot easier for the rest of the day. She has grade 2 and I have grade 6.
I feel incredibly slack about my exercise though. Wed, Thurs and Fri, I did NOTHING! It actually rained THurs-Fri so I will use that as my excuse. We did manage a family walk for an hour yesterday (Sat) arvo and I went for a jog/walk this morning at 6am.
Now....very hapy with this morning's exercise. I managed to jog the fist 20 minutes of the route without a break and then powerwalked 5, then walked at a moderate pace home. Kinda off the couch to 5k plan, but it is working for me! :)
I am hoping to see some results this week. I weighed in on Saturday morning for my HOLU challenge and came out at 79.2kg. Not sure if I will be that on Monday morning for the Suburbs challenge or not.
Seriously though....weighing in at 530pm at WW sucks. I totally believe that what you eat during the day reflects in the scales that evening. My leader doesn't agree though. Speaking of WW, my leader is wanting to do back to back meetings on Tuesday evenings (and Thursdays Tess!!) and was asking me about what I thought of it. Now, I have found out that my staff meetings are on Mondays, so I can do it, but I am going to be reimbursed for sure! I am still only getting every second meeting free, unlike all the other staff members who get ever meeting free. I get there at 430pm to set up, but have decided to leave straight after the meeting now because I have to pay for thesecond meeting. Why should I work LONGER hours than the others and still have to pay every second meeting? I will tell her that I can do this on a Tuesday, but it is taking time away from my kids, so I need to be reimbursed fairly. Do you agree? Anyone got tips on how I can say it?
Righto.... better go, kids are napping and I need some lunch! :)

sorry bout this... but your leader is NUTS! What you eat and drink, exercise, fluid retention, high soduim levels, wet long hair, big boots all affect the scales indefinately by the end of the day! (and dont forget your a touch smaller at the end of the say too than you were in the morning)
and shes also pretty nuts not giving you each week free! Take a stand, but dont go extreme i.e every week free or im gone. But i think you need to talk to her and sort things out and to get things clear, to inform her of "you have a life and kids".
i agree 5.30pm is really bad time for weigh ins but i guess it gives time for people who finish work late or have kids..
